Google is at it again and now they’ve gone too far. Google has the nerve to develop an app for almost any mobile phone which actually turns your phone into a GPS and allows you to track the location of any of your friends or family members while allowing them to track you. On top of that, they are actually giving it away! Yes, for free! It’s called Google Latitude and it’s an amazing new tool that’s built into Google Maps, a for your mobile phone or computer. Google Lattitude…oh the nerve!
What Does Google Latitude Actually Do?
You simply sign up to Google Latitude and whenever you want to enable it on your cell phone, your friends and family can see where you are on a map, on your their phone’s or computer’s, Real Time!
Think about it, you go to a public park, beach or even Disney. You split up from or lose your friends, but just before you arrived, everyone activated Google Latitude on their phones. If you want to find all or one of your friends, just look at the screen and you’ll see an icon with their current location on a map! You can even chat with them via the map by clicking on their name and sending them a message. Everyone can see each other on the map and communicate real time!
No fun! Nobody is getting lost anymore. Google Latitude comes with Google Maps for Mobile, which is also free.
